Painting Nails, A Family Affair

A friend of mine and I decided we should treat ourselves to a morning at the local nail salon. I myself, have not had my nails done for about a year and a half and I haven't had much alone time either while juggling a toddler and infant so it was very appealing. We met up at her house where her husband watched his daughter and my son (both toddlers) and my infant daughter.

After nursing my daughter real quick and giving instructions/ mannerism explanations we were off! We had determined that going first thing in the morning when it was the least busy would be the best thing to do and that was accurate. We had great, fast service and were able to get both manicures and pedicures while having leisurely mommy discussions. We both prefer our real nails over fake and she had color while I had french tips.

I had been so looking forward to this time alone and had so much confidence in her husband watching the kids that I didn't even think about how that was going. Everything went well. When we arrived back we busted out my friends daughter's nail polish and painted my infants toes with a grape smelling purple nail polish. My son felt left out so I painted his big toes blue and his littler toes red!
